I played two rounds at Pico Rivera golf course and was back home and ready to MWS by 1pm. I started with this sweet red aggro shaman deck I brewed up. funny story about this deck, when I presented it on the team forums I said that I got the list from another California player. My reason for this was because of how poorly my last posted list was received. At the time I chalked it up to my limited play testing, but upon reflection it is clear to me that none of the members of the forum were approaching the metagame the same way that I was. Back to the action and the shaman deck was preforming well, but like all aggro decks it played 10x worse on the draw. That is exactly where I don't want to be in core. why turn the estimated 99% edge I have on the field into a mere coin flip? with that in mind, I switched to the velindre list that's served me so well in tournament play. I actually play this deck quite often to unwind after a long day. I enjoy the decisions and flexibility that the deck offers. my first opponent is playing an aggro shaman build similar to what I was playing earlier. on the draw I am brought all the way up to 23 damage before I am able to take COMPLETE control and pull out an easy win from there. he requests a g2 and I gladly hand out another cup of on the draw whup ass. he declines a third slice of humble pie and that's the end of my session. it's still early, but If I had to play tomorrow I would play velindre. If you were smart enough to have read all of the way through, then I applaud your first step towards greatness. marvelous effort by me.
